Sign up and invite your friends to our annual Middle School Fall Retreat. This year we are going big and doing retreat in a way you have yet to see. This year we will have a great speaker, tons of fun, interactions with Jesus, and an overall unforgettable weekend.
What is the cost?
The cost of the retreat this year is $155 and that covers all the food, room, and fun the students are going to have at the retreat center. You will need cash for lunch on Sunday and optional snacks at the retreat center.
When and where is the retreat?
The Retreat is at Silver Birch Ranch which is quite the hike from ACV. We'll have to leave ACV at 3 pm on October 25th to make it on time for the weekend, we'll return around 4 pm on October 27th. This means you may have to pull your kids out of school slightly early to come, I'm sure they'll be really bummed about that one!
Who's it for?
Any middle schooler who attends ACV or is in the area who wants to attend is welcome to register. The retreat is put on by the Western Great Lakes District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, which our church is a part of.
When do I need to register?
We are still trying to figure out if we are getting shirts for the weekend, if we are then you have to register by October 10th to be guaranteed a shirt. However, whether we get shirts or not the registration will close on October 15th. The cost will remain the same with or without the shirts as the district will be covering the cost, not the students.
What to pack?
A packing list will be sent to you before the retreat so you know what to bring. For now, you can assume you'll need sleeping equipment, toiletries, warm clothes for outdoor times, and a water bottle. Also pack dinner for Friday night, snacks for the weekend, and cash for lunch on Sunday and paintball ($5) if you choose to participate.
